If you got a rolling decision or early action acceptance, you typically have until May 1 to commit. At the very least, you’ll want to wait until the financial aid offer comes, if you applied. If you got an early decision acceptance the college can reasonably expect you to commit within a few weeks, because you have already agreed to attend.
