<p>What is a good form (if there even is one) as far as etiquette for corresponding with Admissions officials …? I have some questions pertaining to the Engineering School at Rutgers vs. me trying to follow a Pre-Medicine route, and how that would all be set up at their school. Any tips for addressing this issue?</p>

<p>Make sure you read their website thoroughly to make sure you are not asking a question that can easily be answered there. You can also find the professor’s email addresses there, so write directly to the department head instead of Admissions. Beyond that, just write a polite, somewhat formal letter asking questions that can be answered. Don’t ask for their opinion on what you should do since they don’t know you well enough (at all).</p>
