Is it possible to buy a wallet and have something embroidered on it? if so, can you pick it out? Or would you have to use their set things?

I’m trying to see if I can get a Batman logo embroidered on a wallet. I can’t seem to find a wallet that comes like that right from the manufacturer.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Knowledge of where to buy a Batman embroidered wallet?

I would think you would have to buy such an item already embroidered since it would be very difficult to place a wallet in a machine to embroider it after it is constructed. The stitching would end up going through several layers of the wallet and making it not very functional, I would think.

I would just try googling “batman” and “wallet” and see what you can come up with…

If it’s a cloth wallet it wouldn’t be too hard. However if you’re talking leather you can pretty much forget about it (unless you want to have it done by machine…I embroider and trying to do something on leather would kill my fingers). I agree, Google ftw!!!

I don’t think you can for a different reason. The Batman logo is probably owned by someone. (Yep, just checked; it’s owned by D.C. Comics.)You would need a license to use it. Though I think it would be possible to buy a wallet and have something embroidered on it, I don’t think a company would be willing to embroider a logo–it would be subject to a law suit.

fendergirl, it looks to me that they took a batman embroidered patch & glued it on to the wallet. So if you don’t get it on ebay…find a batman patch & a wallet you like and the right kind of glue and you’ve got yourself a batman wallet.

I’m sending them an e-mail to inquire about it’s construction. I don’t want it to be falling apart or look cheap or anything like that.

My boyfriend needs a new wallet, and I just can’t decide what to get him. I would really like to find a nice batman wallet, but if I can’t then I think I will go with this one:

His current wallet is a seattle seahawks wallet but he’s had it for about twelve years - it has their old logo embroidered on it and everything, and is finally beginning to show some wear… so it might be nice to replace it with a new embroidered seattle seahawks wallet - with their new logo and everything. But every year I try to get him something Batman because he’s a huge Batman fanatic… so I don’t know.

I guess I could always go with a plain black wallet, but where’s the fun in that :)

I had black patent ballet flats with a yellow Bat sign and wore them to death. My DDs were mortified when Mom wore the Bat shoes. I replaced them with Andy Warhol Campbell’s Tomato Soup shoes.
