<p>Yup, you did. Once your FAFSA finishes processing, go back in & make updates. As soon as you change the answer about guardianship, you’ll get a whole slew of new questions that pop up about dependency status. In the end, it will tell you that you need to enter your parent info because you are a dependent student. Once you do that, you will also need to MAKE SURE that you have a parent sign with his/her own PIN. That will fix things.</p>
<p>Yes you marked it wrong. You are not in legal guardianship. You need to change that.</p>
