Emergency!: sent two recommendations in same subject to Princeton

Guys!!

I didn’t know about Princeton’s rule of getting recs from teachers in two different subject areas-- and accidentally sent two recommendations, both from previous history teachers! They both know me VERY VERY well and wrote incredible recs. Furthermore, one even knows me in a totally different context as he taught me German…

Do you think it’s okay or would I automatically be rejected?

Doesn’t that one count as German, then?

No, because technically he was my history teacher.

This isn’t an emergency. It probably won’t be a problem, but you might want to email admissions to ask if they’d like you to send a supplemental recommendation. Good luck!
