EMERGENCYEMERGENCY ACT SUBMISSION

So, I accidentally took advantage of “send in your ACT scores for free” upon registering for the ACT test. I didn’t realize that my ACT scores will be sent to those universities automatically. But, the thing is that I am a junior and colleges don’t even have an application file on me yet (because I’m a junior and obviously haven’t started any college apps). How will my situation work out? Will colleges see my score and hold onto it? Or, since I don’t have an application file, will the colleges just ignore my ACT score when it is sent to them?

Thanks

From my understanding, they’ll hold on to it until application time for you. Don’t sweat it. I would still email them when it comes time for you to apply next year, but other than that, you should be fine.
