<p>That was supposed to be kept a secret for way longer than this! My child was accepted into Yale and they used Emma Watsons acceptance as an “incentive” when speaking to us. I thought she had decided to attend but I could be wrong.</p>

<p>this is old news, we knew about her acceptance since december, when she came back to yale the day after the early acceptances were sent out. it also pays to have friends in the admissions office (one who told me she had been accepted early). i’d say that her chances of actually coming to yale are right now at about 10%. a month or two ago ago, it was rumored that she accepted a spot at cambridge in england, but that was shown to be erroneous, since she is waiting to hear back from regular decision american universities - namely harvard. competition much?</p>

<p>wait but what!? this doesn’t make any sense! She took the january SAT so that she would be eligible to apply to US schools (even though she had ALREADY been accepted to cambridge). And there’s no reason she would update her site with that info unless she planned to strongly consider attending.</p>
