I am not sure whether this was posted, but she has not been accepted by Yale. It turns out that the Twitter account was completely fake; she does not have a Twitter account.

A) People have already seen this.
B) The article you’ve linked says that she is “not necessarily going”, not that she wasn’t accepted. What is even more stupid, however, is that the twitter at issue didn’t even say she was going (it just said something like “I got into Yale!”).
C) Stop obsessing. <- yes, hypocritical, given pt B, but I’ll say it nonetheless.

If I’ll be accepted to Yale (nottttttttttttttttttttttt) I will GUARANTEE them my unwavering yield.
Unless they give me horrible financial aid, in which case I’ll still go there but live in a box on the sidewalk with IndiaRubber.

@ areyouserioussss: Absolutely not. IndiaRubber and I were making plans to live in a box outside of Yale if we both got rejected, and I was henceforth alluding to that on this thread…

Nope; she visited/toured the campus, had tour guides ask her for her autograph (for which these students were reprimanded), and in the end never applied :(

It wasn’t a real interview like the type most applicants have with Yale grads… this was a sort of preliminary interview, more of an information session for Emma regarding how her life would be at Yale as a celebrity (hence why she took a tour of the campus during the same visit). I think the only reason why this happened was because of Emma’s celebrity status (she came into the interview with her agent).

ChandlerBing, if you and IndiaRubber can stand living in the box for the first year, if I get into Yale then you’re more than welcome to come stay with me.

portugueseninja: I think by the time you get your college decisions back (class of 2014 sounds insanely more far away than Class of 2013…) I’ll probably have rented an apartment/actually gone to college.
But thanks for the kind offer :)
