Emory Class of 2015 RD notifications

rejected…
im pretty sure my application was one of the ones they rushed in cuz my counselor rec was missing until 3/14… its not my fault though!!!
im really dsappointed…

accepted, but i’m going to duke. i hope a waitlistee gets my spot!

ACCEPTED! when does the fin aid get released?

and now i have to decide between this , or UF for a year and a guaranteed transfer to Cornell! ughhh

You may go to UF and never look back!

accepted
sheeeeet now i have to make a decision between wesleyan and emory (depends on aid)
i liked it better when all i had was wesleyan and suny stonybrook then the choice was obvious haha

did anyone else get rejected from Emory, but get offered to apply for a spot at the Oxford program and hear back in mid-april??

For those of you guys accepted to Emory, Congratulations!

To those of you who were accepted but do NOT plan on going to Emory, and to those who were wait listed but plan on NOT going… TELL EMORY ASAP.

I’ve been wait listed to Emory, and would still LOVE to go there, so for the many others like me it would be so helpful if you guys decline the offer to Emory lol. [:

^ me too. would love to take anybody’s spot. I wish! :(

^ Same here. Please decline as quickly as possible as a courtesy to us.

I second this motion. As another waitlistee, I would be thrilled if offered a spot. Thank you very much to those who are not attending!

Same here. Some of us are dying to get in to Emory lol… I know I am! :-)

Waitlisted, but I’m not surprised (my supplemental essays were really, really BLAH). I’ve already enrolled at Duke so I will not stay on the waitlist. Congrats to everyone accepted and good luck to everyone else :)

To those waitlist, all colleges accept more students than they will enroll. They know what their yield is (enrolled to accepted ratio). Emory’s yield is 31%. You can probably get the # of waitlisted applicants that got accepted last year from Princeton Review. Don’t assume that the accepted students who are saying they aren’t going to attend on this site will have an impact on Emory accepting someone from the waitlist. Some schools didn’t accept any waitlist students last year. My guess is that Emory accepted a very low # of waitlisted applicants last year.

If you get off the waitlist, is your fin aid impacted?

Accepted

 • 2290 (one sitting)
 • 3.93/4.00 GPA

Not taking the spot so I hope one of you waitlisted people get it! Got accepted at Northwestern, Wash U, Rice and Stanford. I am thrilled

Seems like a lot of people were waitlisted.

You can go ahead and just put me on that list too.

WAITLISTED.

like the 37473 other people on here…

Waitlisted. Haha.
I’m surprised though. I thought I’d be rejected for sure.
3.15 UW, 3.45 W, 2180 SAT … idk. XD it looks pretty bad.

Accepted!
You can see my full stats on the WashU and Rice threads but I doubt you care that much.
In summary, I have:
4.0 UW GPA
A bunch of AP classes (after this year it’ll be 10 classes total)
36 ACT

Accepted!!!

Lol well I’m on the waitlist :(
