Yeah, I think it says that for everyone it seems 
There’s no reason to check the link right now. Last year, people who got in were only able to access it about an hour before the decisions came out.
That’s surprising because you would assume all the information is already loaded. This implies that’s not the case or they don’t make the site “live” until an hour before decisions. 
Did this happen with last year’s applicants too? if so do you know how true this is or is it just some portal astrology
I think it’s fairly certain. Last year a lot of people verified after they got their decisions.

I think the issue with this is that it’s only a tell for people who were admitted to Oxford. For Emory bound (or both campuses) you don’t get any insight if your portal has Emory listed on top.

Yes I agree. If Emory is listed on top, it is not indicative of much.
There are so many options with Emory. Both admitted, both rejected, both wait listed one or the other, spring term admit.
My bad. I was responding to the admitted student site. How sure the campus dropdown theory…? Im not actually sure of the verity of it.
Oops my bad! You were correct, that was in reference to the admitted student link. Just a little more patience… 
The campus dropdown is not an indicator. Only indicator is the admitted link . We were able to access it few hours before the decision time. My daughter was accepted ED2

Was Emory on top and you got admitted to Emory ? Or Oxford on top and admitted to Emory?
So that reallly doesn’t matter. If u change it to a different college and login back again you will see the previous selected. It does not indicate anything.
It’s not about logging in and out. That is because of cache. If you clear the cache after logging out and logging in it will go to what is in the top position. The position doesn’t change though when you open the drop-down.
So you can get both? I did not know that. I figured it like be agreed upon that you’d get one or the other
Were you guys attempting to logging in multiple times and then discovered it worked a few hours before or did you just so happen to try a few hours before and it worked?
I remember we checked an hour or so earlier.
Didn’t chk before that. But that was the first indication. Portal update came exactly at 6 ET.

Agreed. I have Oxford first but I dunno how it legitimate it actually is
To help out future Emory portal astrologists…when you post your decision, also post if Emory or Oxford was in the top position for the drop down.
