Does Emory ever release RD prior to April 1st?
It is usually the Wednesday before the last Thursday of March. 6pm ET. This year most likely it would be 3/27.

Any news about scholar programs? Historical evidence suggests that the finalists should be announced on Wednesday.
Wondering about the same thing. Looks like they send out an e-mail the day before to check their admission portal for the update but we have not received any.

Well, I think it will probably happen next week. There are no announcements on Instagram or their admissions blog.
Also, @kohaja, can you give a source for that? If that’s the case, then we probably did not get it lol.

Oh yeah, of course, they would let us know before announcing it. I misunderstood your comment and thought people started receiving them this year.
Any updates on when emory scholars will come out?
Also, if you get oxford scholars the scholarship still applies when you transfer to Emory, right?
it appears they have not notified anyone yet. but can’t be certain.

Just saw an unverified post from someone who says they called and were told it was delayed this year, but definitely out by the end of the month. Take that for whatever it’s worth. And yes, you absolutely keep the scholarship when you move after sophomore year.
They just sent an email saying it will come out Wednesday

Yep just got it too. 
I don’t understand - for RD applicants, how can they announce Scholarship finalists without knowing if you’re accepted to the university yet?
Im assuming if you’re a finalist you got into Emory but if you’re not a finalist you didn’t necessarily not get in

Good luck everyone ! My DS was a finalist last year. Had a wonderful experience at in person 3 day interview event.
I am confused about the whole Scholars thing. Will the notification coming out tonight just tell me if I am a finalist and need to go to Atlanta for 3 days? Or will it tell me that I am in scholars but not a finalist? How many make the trip to campus and how many people actually get it?
