<p>Emory College April 1st, Emory Oxford March 15th… </p>
<p>Do these dates indicated by what day they will be postmarked or by what date they will arrive? Its March 15 and I haven’t gotten any word form Emory Oxford let alone Emory College.</p>
<p>So do I .I just got some short questions from Oxfords weeks ago.</p>
<p>I just read something really distressing about Oxford College on the site “Urban Dictionary”. The “definition” for Oxford College was that it was a place “in the middle of nowhere”, that no one had ever heard of, and where everyone was an alcoholic despite the fact that there were no fraternities or sororities. As the parent of an applicant I was pretty upset to read this. Granted it was an old post, 2006 but still. Can someone give me a real idea of social life there. Can a student join a fraternity once they go onto the Emory campus??</p>
<p>@ronacar I haven’t lived there, so I can’t say how student life really is there, but I can say that urban dictionary is probably not the most reliable source of information, well, on just about anything. You can join a frat once you leave Oxford and go to Emory, or at least that’s what I’ve been told</p>
