<p>I haven’t been to many other school’s threads but I think this is one of the most supportive and closest of all.</p>
<p>Yeah it is close. Not too many people had CC accounts before they applied to Emory, though. </p>
<p>I think an “Early Decision Meeting” at Emory would be weird. We would just be like “so, this is all the CC people…”</p>
<p>What would we talk about? Who cares though. If I’m in, I will gladly take part. 300 posts is a lot, too.</p>
<p>Oh well Saturday and Emory Email. I guess we will all reconvine around 12:00am on the 15th, or late on the 14th to hold each other’s cyber hands.</p>

i remember having my first one back in october when i submitted the application</p>
<p>Yeah - people congratulated me like “congratulations, you applied to college!” I was like, I’m not even in yet, what’s there to congratulate me on? But it is a good feeling to hit that SUBMIT button.</p>
<p>I wonder when they will email us on when decisions will come out. Probably Monday night. Is there any chance it will come after Dec. 15th? That would be a shot through the heart.</p>

<p>@TJC, I really don’t think Emory would release them after the 15th. I think they purposely list it as 15th to give them time if things go wrong as they did this year. And yea I expect the the email sometime Monday, Tuesday seems to late.</p>

<p>They should just change the mascot from an eagle to something with Dooley or skeleton or something. I mean it can’t be the Emory Dooleys, because noone would know what it is. Something with Dooley or skeleton…which brings me to a question (maybe to current students):</p>
<p>how much is the eagle represented on campus? not like school spirit and the athletics program, but like the actual eagle. maybe this is a hard question. forget it</p>
