<p>I am to be a Junior this year at Emory University. My sister just turned 18 and is attending Emory as well but as a Freshman. Emory’s policy states that she cannot live off campus as a freshman unless she is to live with her parent or legal guardian. Is it at all possible to obtain “educational guardianship” so that she can live off campus with my husband and I? Its been cleared with my mom and we both feel that it’s best for her. More space, less processed food, private shower, and a quiet study environment. </p>
<p>Also, if I have to obtain guardianship… How can I make that happen? </p>
