emory psychology major

How hard is it to get an A?
How good is the department?
Is there much focus on social and culture?
What is the down side of the department?

Psych is one of Emory’s strongest departments. In general, undergrad psych is undergrad psych. The only difference is that large research uni’s may also offer a Cog Pysch program, but those are rare at the undergrad level. Emory does offer a joint psych-ling major, however.

but how hard is it to get an A?

stop worrying about grades and just learn.

Well if race wants to go to a top PhD program, then I would worry about grades. If he/she is looking for a Psy D program then I wouldn’t stress too much

I’d venture that if one has the ability to go to a top PhD program, then grades won’t be a problem no matter the university. If one wants it bad enough and has the ability, then he or she will willingly study to the point that grades naturally follow.

That being said, psychology at Emory isn’t easy. But I think that’s what you want if you’re looking to go to a top graduate program.
