<p>This is why I didn’t tell d about all of this…I wanted her to sleep this morning…</p>
<p>Just an aside: In the past 6-9 months, whenever we wanted info from Emory, D e-mailed admissions rep from our area…Why? Because last February, when we called the “ladies” in admissions with a question, they seemed very annoyed and in a hurry…we didn’t find this at other schools, but for some reason, it didn’t seem like the people who answer the phone were particularly thrilled about answering questions from students…someone actually alluded to this earlier in thread (Tako, I think)…Anyway, whatever they told you about this morning or today was probably based on what they had heard in the office, not necessarily gospel…In reality, it could be that the letters were going out this morning and OPUS will be updated another time…Who knows? I’m just sorry alot of you stayed up all night…</p>
<p>edit: Interesting point about next week…If they employ students to help out with applications, they are still on vacation; that could make some sense, unfortunately…Last year, the students were back on Jan 15th and the notification was Jan 16th…HMMMMMM…</p>
