Emory University Economics

At first, I applied for Emory University Economics, but then changed my mind to business after I got accepted which they were okay with, since I have to do 2 years of GER anyways. I would like to know how strong the economics major actually is at Emory University, because it’s not in top 100 ranking (i forgot the URLs sorry) of anywhere, and the closest ranking I found was around 130th in the world. Is it because of the fact that emory university is small? Is UWisconsin-Madison a lot stronger in economics compared to Emory’s? I checked the faculty profiles, and while UWisconsin have most of Economics faculty from ivy league or those on par with them (such as U of Chicago, or UC-Berkley), many faculties at Emory Economics seem to have gotten their Ph.Ds at a typical (?) state university, such as U of Minnestoa.
