Emory V Tulane for Music and Theater

I am interested in continuing vocal performance or theater as a minor or as an extracurricular. Would Emory or Tulane be significantly better for music? How would you compare the music programs/scenes at both schools? I am most likely an English or political science major, but continuing music and theater outside of classes is important to me. Thank you so much!

If you’re going to take an interdisciplinary approach to poli-sci – say International Relations or Political Economy or maybe combining it with area studies (e.g., Latin America) or a specialized history to create your own interdisciplinary major --I would take a very strong look at Tulane, especially if theater is your focus in the artistic side. If you are going for plain vanilla poli-sci and your emphasis is more on music, then just go where you feel you would better enjoy yourself and where you are more likely to thrive academically. Best of luck to you!
