Emory vs. Carleton

Well, I’ve been accepted into both schools. I’m from the Midwest, pretty laid back, somewhat quirky, and not altogether preppy. I am considering History, Political Science, Business, and Biology for my possible major(s) in college. I would like to move on to graduate school for either medicine or business. Weather isn’t really too important for me; I 'm used to having both blazing heat and freezing cold. I play golf, and would probably have a chance at making the team at either school. I’m also interested in writing (newspaper, literary journal, humor paper, whatever).

Any thoughts?

I am also accepted to both, and honestly, I think the level of education between Emory and Carleton is just about the same. (Although I must admit Carleton has a better reputation)

When deciding either Emory or Carleton, it all comes down to sizes and locations. Choose a better place, and go :)

Much as I like Carleton, where my son will be going next September, I feel compelled to point out that Carleton does not have a particularly strong student newspaper. Take a look at the respective websites and decide for yourself:

[The Emory Wheel | Emory University’s Student Newspaper](http://www.emorywheel.com/)

However, the Carleton Lens magazine has received several awards.

Thanks!

I have a new question: which school will help me more with getting into a really good graduate school?

Any takers?
