I don’t know the answer about being undecided and future employers, etc., but there is such a VAST difference in the campus culture at those two schools. That’s an interesting pairing!

i <3 smith :)

Smith is a wonderful place and is known for small classes, academic excellence, terrific advising and mentoring, and available, committed professors. It has an open curriculum which gives you lots of room to explore your interests.

Smith IMO.

Both very fine schools, but I’d be very surprised (especially for a student undecided as to major) if the advising and mentoring at Emory was anything close to that which is standard at Smith.

These schools couldn’t be much more different.
If you could say something more about yourself and what your goals are, we could figure this out better in your particular case.

As a Jeff, I recommend Smith with heavy bias.

bump?

(trying to make my post long enough blah blah blah)

Bump. I would like some opinions too. Just some general comparisons maybe (academic, social, w/e)? And what about if you’re interested in something like International Relations/Studies, but still not quite sure, so would like to explore other options?

I would go to Smith all things being equal. You can take classes at Amherst.
