Emory's app

Under SAT, it only says Verbal and Math.
Is it okay to put Writing down in the SAT II section if that’s one of your highest scores?

This is a question that should probably be answered by an admissions counselor. This is a list of various contacts. <a href=“Admission | Emory University | Atlanta GA”>Admission | Emory University | Atlanta GA;

Seaghost, wow… early worm, eh? ;)

As of last year, Emory had not firmly decided on the weight they would place on the Writing portion of the New SAT Reasoning Test (formerly SAT I). Because the Writing portion is not truly an SAT Subject Test, it doesn’t seem appropriate to put that score under the SAT II scores. Since you have months before any deadline for app submission, you may want to contact the Emory Admissions department and ask for an admissions officer to answer your question.

i had this same question when i applied last year. i called them and they told me to just write in the writing score above or below the cr and math sections of the sat.

Seaghost, are you filling out the application online or by hand?

I agree with Amandani, I just wrote it under the other SAT I sections. I commend you for starting this application this early, I didn’t send mine in until January 14th :D

Aren’t you guys using the common app? It easier!

I am, but the thing about it I don’t like is that there’s not much room to elaborate on activities and the honors associated with them.
