We were in Palo Alto in March and son bought a game from Target, we came back home (7,000 miles away) and opened the box to find it empty!!

He wrote an email to Target, they said to bring it back within 90 days with a receipt! Its a shame, isn’t it? All that money down the drain as we are not flying all the way back to return the thing.

I wrote to them yesterday explaining the situation again and I got the same answer back!!

This actually happened to us before. I’m sure what you are getting is a ‘canned’ response.

I second contacting the manufacturer and explaining the situation. Find out from them the best course of action.

In addition…did you use a major credit card for the purchase? Contact them and explain the situation and ask if filing a dispute is the best avenue. You may not get the game but at least you might get a refund for what you paid.

My son paid for the game using his ‘debit card’ and he purchased it for a friend as a favor. Will try calling Ubisoft, the manufacturer. Thanks all.
