So I will be attending Yale this Fall, but over the last 3.5 years in high school my gym average was a 95. This quarter it dropped to about a 60 because of a bunch of absences due to testing (AP's) and a trip to Yale. Will Yale even look at this on my final school report? I know gym is pretty much inconsequential but will the admission staff even care at all, since I know that my school sends gym grades.

What is your semester grade going to be? If it’s a Bor above you will be fine, and they might call or something for a C, but you’ll also be fine.

I think you’ll be fine. Admissions understands that gym is a pretty non-important class, in terms of showing your academic ability =)
Even if they do call, as long as you can explain you’ll be fine.

Lots of schools recalculate GPAs by ignoring classes like gym. So I’d say you’re good.

They will assign you to Stiles or Morse and require you to go to the gym once a week during freshman year. There will be no other repercussions.
