And 2008-2009? I’m imagining worse.</p>
<p>Hard to say. Vanderbilt just announced their new financial aid initiative yesterday. No more loans to meet need, beginning in the fall (for new AND continuing students). The coolest thing? They will repackage current seniors for winter term to eliminate their loans for their final term. I assume they expect the endowment to perform well in the long term.</p>
