Energy Expended Question (Oct SAT Writing)

So, can anyone who received a perfect/close-to-perfect MC on Writing confirm what the answer to the energy expended question was?

It was the most-debated writing question in the Oct SAT… for those who don’t remember, the two answers were between:

D. The energy expended in traveling to the moon is greater than that of traveling in the opposite direction.
E. The energy expended in traveling to the moon is greater than that expended in traveling in the opposite direction.

I’m guessing the answer was E, but anyone confirm? It’ll be helpful to those of us who are retaking the SAT and may get stuck on another parallelism question.

this question is testing parallelism. which one is parallel? E is. I don’t understand the fuss over the question.

it’s E. it isn’t even remotely debatable.

I chose “E” and got a 79 subscore, so yeah…
