<p>I posted the same question on the business board and felt I could get a really good perspective over here as well. Which one of these industries would you prefer to work in and why? </p>
<p>Also, does anyone know what the hell an “energy analyst” is? The job descriptions are vague to the point that it calls for either an engineering or business degree.</p>
<p>What do you mean “technology industry”? You could argue that every engineer works in the technology industry so I’m not sure what you are asking. By saying technology, are you referring specifically to the computer/software industry?</p>
<p>Yes, I meant along the lines of computer technology: hardware, software, security, IT solutions, network systems, programming, etc…</p>
<p>Energy means any company focused on energy solutions, whether petroleum or green energy based.</p>
