Energy Star Appliances in Dorms

<p>On the housing website, it says that all appliances should be certified energy star compliant. Do they really check appliances to make sure that they are energy star? I’ve been having a hard time finding an energy star microwave.</p>

<p>You can get any microwave you want as long as the voltage is less than 1200 watts which should be easy. </p>

<p>Size-wise I’d suggest getting one that fits a plate, but isn’t any bigger. You want to make good use of your space.</p>
