I will start working toward my Engineering degree in the fall at the UofA. I plan to become a Petroleum Engineer. While I have a great interest in the petroleum industry, I’m also very intrigued by the business side of things. After working as a PetrE for a few years I would love to get a MBA. I have a relative who received an MBA from Columbia and I have always been interested in doing this myself…Does anyone have any tips or advice if I choose to try to get into Columbia at some point down the road? Just keep my GPA up? anything else?..I want to make sure I don’t close any doors on myself while pursuing my undergraduate degree.

Thanks
