Ok, I’ve heard that I shouldn’t bother with engineering 10 because you don’t really need it and it doesn’t help your gpa since it is pass/fail. Did any body find that class worthwhile?

Also, if I don’t take it, are there any other half-credit classes that I can replace it with. Engineers can take up to 4.5 credits and it seems like such a waste to not use it on something interesting.

It can be really helpful if you have not been exposed to engineering in general, the different kinds of engineering, and what Pratt has to offer. I did not take it because I was fairly sure that I wanted to do electrical, but several of my friends did. They found it helpful in picking a spring engineering courses.

I think I’m going to do it, because even though I know if I’m an engineer I will do BME, I really don’t know what I can actually do with it. Plus if it’s pass/fail it can’t be too hard…
