Hello,
I currently attend the University of Tennessee and am a freshman in aerospace engineering. I find engineering cool and all, but I am sort of bored by it and I don’t really want to do this every day for the rest of my life even though I am near the top of my class at this school. I taught myself 6 instruments (bass guitar, ukulele, piano, electric guitar, cajon, and drums) and I really enjoy music. I am working on an album that I am going to release next year. I’m a pretty good singer and I’m making the album totally myself (producing. I am from Chicago and really want to go home because I miss my family and my girlfriend etc. Should I follow music and become a performer or stick to engineering? Maybe I can attend the University of Chicago and have a minor in music and a major in one of the engineering programs offered at that school. What should I do?
