<p>Hey, how is Northwestern’s engineering program and their pure sciences? I know it’s one of the biggest schools there after Weinberg, and it’s very strong, but HOW strong? How does it compare to other schools in terms of job/grad school placement and caliber (and perhaps prestige)?</p>
<p>Top-10 programs in chemistry, material sciences, industrial engineering/management sciences, civil engg, and mechanical engg. Chem engg, biomed engg, and environmental engg are in the top-15.</p>
<p>Applied math was also in the top-15 according to US News 2006.</p>
