Engineering at Yale?

Hi, I'm planning on studying engineering in college, but I also want to progress towards management as well since a life of research doesn't particularly appeal to me. If I plan on applying to Yale's School of Management for an MBA, should I also just study engineering at Yale for my undergrad as opposed applying to a college more geared towards engineering as an ungergrad and then applying to Yale for an MBA? Which option is more practical, or looks better for employment?

Thanks kindly.

Applicants to Yale SOM come from the full breadth of fields. Any solid degree and background would make you viable, Yale BA/BS or not.

As far as practical, no one can practically assume to apply and be accepted to Yale College. That’s a huge hurdle right there.
