Engineering Calculator

I currently have a TI 84; will I need to buy a new calculator/would you recommend buying a new calculator for an EECS or any other engineering major? Or will this be sufficient for all 4 years of undergrad?

I can’t speak for most upper divs, but TI-84 is what everybody uses for at least the first two years. I’d say wait as long as you can before buying a new calc, because you may not need a new one at all.

If you need to do something more advanced than using your TI-84, you’re better off with using Matlab or another program.
