Engineering Degree to Law School

I am a 20 year old senior in Structural and Environmental Engineering at a well known Engineering university in Tennessee. I have a 2.75 GPA overall at the moment, have been the President of a fraternity, and work third shift at a water treatment plant as an Operator in Training. When I graduate I am looking to apply to the University of Tennessee’s Law school, who say the average range of GPA’s accepted are 3.2-3.7.

With that said, my question is, might I have a decent chance of being accepted, given that in taking practice LSATs I always score 160-167 and have no need of financial aid?

I’m quite sorry if this question is not of the usual sort asked in this specific forum, and I thank you for your time and consideration.

It’s certainly worth a shot.

A good LSAT score can forgive a poor GPA.
