Engineering info session vs. regular info session

Im visiting Cornell soon, and I would want to apply to the engineering school. Should I go to both the regular and engineering info sessions, or just the engineering one?

You likely won’t be doing anything else that day since Cornell is a long drive from most everywhere. I would maximize my time on campus and do both. There is a small amount of overlap.

I would take a tour before sitting through a second info session. The Engineering session should tell you what you need to know in order to apply to Engineering. Cornell offers campus tours and then separate Freshman Experience tours (or some name like that). The freshmen all live on North Campus, which is approximately one mile from the Engineering Quad. If you only have time for one tour, I would take the campus tour, but understand that you will not see dorms or dining halls.

If you have free time, walk down the stairs at the end of the Engineering quad, down a small path and over a foot bridge, and you will be in college town in two minutes. As an Engineering student, you may find yourself grabbing lunch there as it is closer than the dining halls. CTB (Collegetown Bagels) is the first building you will see as you enter collegetown.
