<p>Hey all engineering majors do you have sum kinda rough idea as to which courses you will be taking in the first semester?My major is mechanical engr and their website shows a recommended course sequence.So will we be taking exactly the same courses as mentioned in the recommended sequence?</p>

<p>lol, i forgot to mention i’m a first year too…but i remember the recommended courses thing during orientation had like math20a/b/c for freshman year and chem 6a/b and physics something (i forgot)…i heard u can find that courses thing online.</p>

Also can we test out of beginning courses like Math 20 A and directly start Math 20 B ?</p>
<p>For my frist year, i just copied the recomended courses, and adjusted it accordingly. Some classes will fill up, or you didn’t meet the pre-req, and so you begin to manipulate it accordingly, however, for the most part, you just copy what the online thing says.</p>
