<p>Ok so i planned to do Biomedical Engineering + Pre-med next fall at TAMU (Been accepted already), but I now realize that I have a better “drive” for math than science. I have AP Calculus & D.C. Biology this year and enjoyed AP Cal much more. It didnt help that all we did was lab, and short quizzes over each chapter we never read. Can i drop pre-med after the first year without it effecting my schedule? Also I hear that if you plan to do Biomed engr then its best to get a B.S. in Mech than get a M.S. in Biomed. Is that true? Does it make any difference? Also is it possible to get a B.S. in Chem engr then get a M.S. in Biomed engr? Is that better than the earlier alternative?</p>
