I will be matriculating at Cornell this Fall and I am interested in a future career in Funds Management, Financial Engineering, and Banking. I am majoring in Environmental Engineering because I am fascinated with advanced math and science, and I am planning to minor in Business/Economics. How big a role will my [Engineering] major play in finding these kinds of jobs?
Those jobs which favor general quantitative skills may prefer any quantitative major, including the various engineering majors, over less quantitative majors.
