Engineering Majors- Computer vs Handwritten Notes?

Do you guys use laptops/tablets with touchscreen drawing capabilities to take notes or old-fashioned pen and paper to take notes?

I’ve heard different things- the Internet’s a distraction, but you can easily reorganize notes on a laptop/tablet etc, etc. What works for you?

Convertible laptop (microsoft surface) with touchscreen + pen. Its nice to have all my notes from prior classes available whenever I want, plus easily reorganizing, color coding, adding multimedia, etc. I also use my phone to scan any paper handouts into my notetaking software (microsoft onenote).

Writing the notes by hand helps you learn better…http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/next/body/taking-notes-by-hand-could-improve-memory-wt/

@bopper the question is writing by hand on a laptop/tablet or in a notebook. You kinda need to write by hand for engineering bc of math/diagrams.
