engineering/natural science schools for kids with few or none EC's

<p>which schools are best for kids who have done few extracurricular? i’m not talking about schools that don’t have a community service requirement, just colleges with adcoms that tend to not care about what one does during HS in their free time…</p>

<p>in my area, the UCs and Cal Poly are popular options…</p>

<p>BTW, Harvey Mudd and Caltech are other options. I was looking at these, and I certainly only had good scores + lots of academic activity out of class [no actual EC’s]. </p>

<p>Try UMichigan too…I didn’t apply, but it’s supposed to have the standard stats based public school style appeal.</p>
