As an engineering major, I’ve been wondering what the quality of the engineering professors at Cornell is. Can they mostly speak English, do they teach well, etc.

I think the quality of professors is pretty good. All of them speak English very well. You might have trouble understanding the accents of your TA’s at first though, some of them do have heavy accents, others are completely American. The only professor I’ve had issues with was Chem 2090 but other than that all of my professors are/have been very approachable if you don’t understand something. Each professor does have a little bit different teaching style though. But as soon as you recognize how they teach, you are able to learn a lot from the lectures. If you have credit for Chem 2090, I would definitely take the credits and skip it.
