Hi there! Our daughter was accepted EA for Engineering last night and we would love any feedback/experiences about the program. Thanks!
I have a son who is a senior engineering major. Happy to answer any questions you have.
Following. My son applied, but regular decision for engineering. He also applied to Georgia Tech, but liked Clemson’s campus when we visited for his younger sibling
I have a super senior in MechE with a minor in DPA; happy to answer any questions. I’d say DD’s biggest praise would be some of the professors she’s worked with/learned from; her biggest complaint would be always winding up with the “bad equipment” station in her labs and the old combo statics/dynamics 5 credit class with a 25% pass rate. Not to worry, they eliminated it and broke it into 2 separate classes the year after she took it. DD has loved her time; she’s worked on 2 different research projects and has completed 2 different internships. She focused her projects and classes on control systems; her research was in swarm robotics and now codes in 4 or 5 different languages.
