Case Western, RPI, UCSD, and Purdue are already on my list.
Any suggestion?? PLZ?
What colleges would be reach, match, and safety FOR ME?
HELP, I only have a month…T-T

University of Texas-Austin - top 10
Carnegie Mellon - very good in electrical & computer engineering
University of Illinois - an all round great engineering school

I third Rose-Hulman! Very easy application, very few female students so they definitely need more, and selected as #1 engineering school in the country among schools that do not offer the PhD degree in the U.S. News and World report.

i was just about to recommend case western, when i saw that it was already on your list. it is a very good school, and is well known for its engineering program. i have a cousin there who will graduate in june of 2005. because she took some summer classes and extra credits she is graduating in 5 years with a masters in biomedical engineering. with your scores and ECs, you would be a good candidate for cwru. good luck!

University of Illinois has the 4th best engineering school in the country, behind MIT, Stanford, and Caltech.

Or so I’ve been told. They could have been LYING to me, or they could have been basing their boast off of only one “ranking”, whereas other lists would rank them lower. Still, they are really good. Purdue is also a good choice.

absolutely. my friend got into cornell with a 1340 SAT and similar IIs. biggest EC to speak of was yrbook, and he wasnt even editor. anyone can get in anywhere. on the same token anyone can get rejected anywhere.
