How are the engineering programs at these schoools: UT-Austin, Rice, Northwestern, NYU, UMiami, USC, and Boston University?

Also, majoring in Biomedical Engineering would be a good undergrad major for med school right?

NYU doesn’t have an engineering program. What they do have though is a 3-2 program with the Stevens Institute of Technology. NYU is also in talks to merge with the Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY to acquire an engineering program of their own.

UT-Austin and Rice are pretty good from what I’ve heard.

Northwestern, Rice, UT-Austin, USC all excellent.

I may be able to help you if you have specific questions about UT-Austin. I don’t go there, but I live in Austin and am fairly familiar with the school and its engineering program.

texas has great bio e as well as rice which is next to the largest medical complex in the world md anderson

NYU doesn’t have engineering program if my memory serves correctly. From the list you have provided, I must say that Texas has the best engineering program. (Not that Texas is signifcantly better than the other schools you have provided, the difference is probably miniscule.)
