<p>There is a rumour/misleading info that suggests it is easier to get into the Engineering school than the College. This is only true if you have the pre-engineering requisites complete, such as a higher SAT math score and lots of science courses in high school or a desire to make up your lack of pre-reqs (suppose your school doesn’t offer them or you realize late in high school that you want to do engineering for example). You can’t just apply to the e-school to get in easier and then transfer to the College to try and increase your odds of getting into UVA, which is what people think they might be able to do. I hope that makes it clearer…</p>
