I am going to be a freshman ChemE major next year at Auburn. Can anybody tell me about the Engineering Honor Society at Auburn, the Concrete Canoe team, Baja, and Formula One? Also, if I decide I wanted a PetE major instead, should I transfer to a school similar to TAMU, LSU, or New Mexico Tech or should I continue with my ChemE major and get a Master’s PetE degree somewhere else?

Sorry to be harsh but 1) you should have asked these questions before you committed. 2) There is a fair amount of info on all these topics on the Auburn website and via basic searches. 3) The ship has probably sailed for undergrad PetE. I don’t think Auburn has the energy specialization option for ChemE anymore. Don’t count on being able to transfer into a good PetE undergrad program without excellent Fr/So ChemE/pre-requisite grades - which are difficult to achieve. However, a regular ChemE degrees is perfectly acceptable for MS PetE.

Thank you @MariettaDad for your input!
