Hello, I am currently a rising sophomore at Macalester College.(LAC) My school is famous for international studies and economics, but, it is definitely not science-y school. Before I came here, I didn’t know much about this school, and it was an early decision, so, I had to come though I got admissions from other schools. But the problem is that I want to do engineering or engineering related programs such as material science or chemical engineering, but, I only can get BA degree in science and math. So, I was plannng to transfer from here, but, my GPA is not good enough to go to good schools(it is below 3.5) and even though I wanna transfer to UC schools, but tuition is too expensive(im both intnl and out-of-state). Can you please give me some advice about my situation? Should I transfer to any state schools? or can I go to engineering graduate school after I graduate here? Thank you all!

look into private schools that give international transfer student aid, there should be a list if you do a search

Macalester has a 3-2 engineering program.
