Engineering Virtual Studio I

So I just saw today that this was added to my schedule by my new advisor, and apparently it is mandatory for all BMEs who matriculate in or after 2012. Is it a new class, or are there people who have taken it before and can tell me what it’s all about?
Also, it’s all online, so is there a set time when we have to be online to take it, or can we go at our own pace? It says there is a paper at the end, but other than that, what are we graded on? I know it’s pass/fail, but I’d just like more info. Thanks!

It’s a new course. It won’t be at certain times though. Likely online readings, maybe online lectures, and a online forum. Doubt it’ll be much work. It is a sequence, so you’ll have to take it next semester too.

It’s new, so I doubt anyone here can really tell you much about it.
That being said, if it’s pass/fail, it won’t be difficult at all.

Also, it looks like you’ll also have to take something similar in the Spring and sophomore years (there’s apparently a II, III, and IV planned as well).

Edit: if you look at the new course book (what I linked to), it also shows how the bme department is going to suggest how to handle EnMath (ESE 317) being split into two classes (ESE 318 & 319).
