<p>once a electrical engineer gets his license can he work in any state or just the state he got his license in (like if a person get his license in iowa state, could he work outside of iowa). Is there a certain school where if you graduate from it you can work in any state.</p>

<p>An engineer can work in any state, but a Professional Engineer (PE) license would only be valid in the issuing state. PE licensing is more common in civil engineering.</p>
