english 104 in blinn college?

hi! i am just wondering if i can take english 104 at blinn college in fall semester.
is that possible?
i will a freshman i really have no idea :frowning:
it will be easier than taking english in a&m right?

It is indeed easier! Some Engl 104 classes at A&M require to read many books, but Engl 104 at Blinn (called Engl 1301) just requires you to write 5 essays totaling about 4000 words or so (as in the 1st essay is 500 words, the 2nd is 750, etc etc), I don’t remember. It really isn’t that bad (:

If you’re already enrolled at A&M you may need to get permission to dual enroll. You could probably just take it over the summer or over the winter break though.

Many community colleges offer “mini-mesters” where you go every day for 4-5 hours for just 2-3 weeks (during winter break and also during May). My son took Engl 104 that way. The teacher didn’t even make them buy a book and after they got their papers back they could make corrections and turn them BACK in for a higher grade :-).

You have to use this matrix to find the community college course# that corresponds to 104.
